The WABAC Machine
Join Sherman and Mr. Peabody and set the dial for at least 100 years ago.
For this challenge, read science fiction, fantasy, and horror published in 1919 or before. There's a lot out there, and if you read Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, and Arthur Conan Doyle as a kid, it is worth revisiting. On the pulp side, there is the early Edgar Rice Burroughs. For sheer weirdness, try L. Frank Baum. And the 19th and early 20th century remains the high point for horror fiction --M.R. James, Algernon Blackwood, Arthur Machen. Choose a classic or search out a hidden gem.
