History
Galaxy Science Fiction is a venerable digest magazine begun in 1950 by the legendary editor H.L. Gold, publishing stories hot off the press by Isaac Asimov and Fritz Leiber. Frederick Pohl himself took over the helm from 1959 to 1969. Published on a monthly basis, Galaxy publishes some of the best cutting edge Science Fiction in the genre.
