History
Avon Eos is no longer a functioning imprint. Eos was a Science Fiction imprint for Avon Books, but the line moved into the HarperCollins group, where it remains today.
Mythology fans will recognize Eos as the Goddess of the Dawn, and Avon clearly hoped that Avon Eos would be a hopeful new start for a successful SF/F imprint line. See also "Eos" itself, under the publisher listings.
