Synopsis
In this short story, Geneva Cross is dreading her 100th birthday party. She should be looking forward to seeing her children and friends, but most of them aren't human anymore.
This short story originally appeared in TransVersions 10 (1999). It can also be found in the anthology Year's Best SF 5 (2000), edited by David G. Hartwell.
