Synopsis
Amy is an ex-model and now has her own talk radio show with a popular phone-in slot. People talk about their fantasies mostly, all of which is cheerful stuff until, one night, a man says he fantasises about raping a woman. Meanwhile, two prostitutes are murdered in identical ways with no apparent motive. Then a drug pusher and a down-and-out. The police think someone is on a 'clean-up' campaign.
Amy begins to wonder if the man she loves and who lives in the flat beneath her might actually be the murderer as he has always been out on the appropriate nights. Then a hospice is burned down and eleven cancer patients die. It isn't a clean-up campaign but 'mercy killings'. And Amy has discovered she has breast cancer - and the murderer calls her phone-in programme to say she is next.
