Random quote: "No matter what they may have done in life, they must have started out innocent, as do we all, so don't be too hard on them. It was your fault for making them Human, which was a dirty trick. If you are out there somewhere, you ought to be ashamed of yourself." Admin Posts: 4008 Location: Dallas, Texas | dalex - 2016-08-05 10:10 AM Could someone make a banner for the Theology in Genre Fiction challenge? Please and thank you. Took a little longer than I thought but here ya go. I searched for real religious symbols and augmented them with some crop circle patterns and other symbols to suggest alien religions etc. I snuck in an atheist symbol while I was at it. The background is the Eye of God Nebula which I thought was a bit of fun for those who might recognize it

Uber User Posts: 370 Location: Beaverton, Oregon, USA | It's that time of year again! I recreated my two challenges for 2017. Dave, can you update my banners to 2017 when you have the chance? They're for the 2017 LGBTQ Spec Fic and the 2017 I Just Have to Read More of That Author challenges. I already created the challenges and they're set to start in January, so they don't appear on the website yet, but they should be in the database. Thanks! And Happy New Year! Steve

Admin Posts: 4008 Location: Dallas, Texas | All these banners are updated or just repeated if they did not have the year on them. Let me know if you need any more. I think we're off to a great start already with almost all of the old challenges back for another go round and some interesting new ones to boot. Schweet! Be sure to spread the word on your social media!

Uber User Posts: 1057 | Dlw28 - 2017-01-06 11:21 PM Not sure where to post this question, but will there will a 'published in 2017' challenge? I wasn't sure whether there was a demand for one, but since there is, here you go: 2017 Speculative Fiction Published This Year I'm not really up to graphics at the moment, but I'll see if I can manage to figure out something for a banner within a few days (unless Admin is feeling particularly inspired and creative and wants to do it).

Extreme Veteran Posts: 306 | Lol sounds good! Graphics certainly not needed right away. Thanks for adding. It helps me think about what's new out and about. The challenge has changed the way I search for books.

I am new to making RYO challenges (and also a little bit graphics impaired as well) and need help actually putting the banner in place. How exactly is it put in there?

How exactly is it put in there? Hi Link, I merged your thread with this one. To add your banner go to your reading challenge page and click the "Edit This Challenge" link. On the edit page you can add a link to your logo by pasting it into the "Custom Logo Link" field. This presupposes you have a place on the web to store your graphic. If you do not you can email your image to me (info at worldswithoutend dot com) and I will add it to your record. If you don't want to make your own banner then drop some ideas here in this thread and I, or someone else, can make one for you. Let me know if you have further questions.
