Hi all,

I just finished the Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne and absolutely loved them, they have quickly climbed the ladder on my favorites list. I particularly enjoyed the mythology, enchanted weapons, magic and humor elements behind it. Does anyone have any recommendations for similar books/authors?

Any recommendations are welcome.

Cheers,
-Jed

What about Simon R Green's Man with the Golden Torc series.Lots of humour and magic there
Benedict Jacka's Alex Verus series ,about a mage running a magic shop in London.
Ben Aaronovich's Rivers of London
Richard Kadrey's Sandman Slim series

Thanks dusty,

I've read Simon R Green's Deathstalker series and found after a few of his books it became monotonous. Does his Golden Torc series suffer from this aswell?

I've got Blake's 7 by Aaronavitch, its been on my list for awhile now. I know what you mean mate, that to read list just gets longer and longer.

I'm half tempted to break my Dresden series to start the Sandman one. Just feels wrong breaking a series up though
