Biography
K. C. Alexander is the author of the SINless series, a transhumanist sci-fi called "a speed freak rush" by NYT bestseller Richard Kadrey and "a violent thrillride" by award-nominated Stephen Blackmoore. Nanoshock, the sequel to the well-received Necrotech, is due to release in summer of 2017.
Being a diehard Bioware fan, she was beyond thrilled to co-write Mass Effect: Nexus Uprising with NYT bestseller Jason M. Hough--Bioware's first novelization for Mass Effect: Andromeda, and a notch on the bucket list for a passionate fan.
Her first transhumanist short story, "Four Tons Too Late", debuted at Fireside magazine. Subsequent short stories followed, including "The Long Road to La Grange" in the charity anthology Protectors 2: Heroes, and "The True Story of the Unsmiling Moon" for Geeky Giving. Her specialties include voice-driven prose, an obscene love of profanity, and imperfect characters doing imperfect things. Genre aside, she writes whatever she wants.
Before she began writing full time, K. C. wore the adult skin of a web designer--though whose skin remains a matter of speculation. She prefers animals to human company, insists on cremation or cannibalism when she dies, and otherwise lives life as an author, gamer, photographer, struggling Buddhist, and mostly she's just this guy, you know?
As a bipolar genderqueer mostly-human (and occasional outer god), she prefers to be called 'she' or 'they', and refuses to be held to your standards.
