Biography
Alison Goodman is the author of New York Times Bestsellers, EON and EONA (also known as The Two Pearls of Wisdom and The Necklace of the Gods). The fantasy duology has sold into over seventeen countries, and been translated into ten languages. EON was shortlisted for three Premier's Literary awards, and won the 2008 Aurealis Award for Best Fantasy Novel. Alison's other novels are the award-winning Singing the Dogstar Blues, and her crime novel Killing the Rabbit which was shortlisted for the 2007 Davitt Award.
Goodman was a D.J. O'Hearn Memorial Fellow at Melbourne University, holds a Master of Arts, and has taught creative writing at postgraduate level. She is currently working on a new fiction series, and professionally mentors a small number of writers on their book-length projects. She lives in Melbourne, Australia, with her husband, Ron, and their Machiavellian Jack Russell Terrier.
