Biography

Maggie Furey (1955-2016) was born in North East England. She was a qualified teacher, but has also reviewed books on BBC Radio Newcastle, been an advisor in the Durham Reading Resources Centre and organised children's book fairs. She lived in County Wicklow, Ireland.
