Biography
Scott Dalrymple made his fiction debut in back-to-back issues of The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, where he was pulled from slush by a young John Joseph Adams. His novelette "Queen of the Kanguellas" appeared in the final printed issue of Realms of Fantasy and won its Readers Choice Award for Best Story (that the story caused the magazine's death remains mere speculation). His day job is President of Columbia College (www.ccis.edu), which has a traditional campus in Columbia, Missouri, as well as 25,000 students at 35 extended sites across the U.S. and online. His hobby is challenging students to video game tournaments and then losing. Columbia College recently became one of the first institutions in the country to offer scholarships for League of Legends players at the Diamond level or above.
