Biography
Mark Smith lives on the west coast of Victoria, Australia, where he writes, surfs and sometimes even works. His short fiction has appeared in Best Australian Stories, The Australian, The Big Issue and Review of Australian Fiction, among others. In 2015 he won Australia's richest short story prize, the Josephine Ulrick Literature Prize. The Road To Winter is his first novel. (He also finds it just a little bit weird talking about himself in the third person.)
