Biography
Catherine Wells is the author of seven novels and assorted short stories. Her works included "Mother Grimm" from Roc Books, a division of Dutton Signet, which was a finalist for the 1997 Philip K. Dick Award; and the Coconino trilogy from Del Rey Books, a division of Random House. Her short stories have appeared in "Analog," "Asimov's Magazine of Science Fiction," and anthologies such as "Wastelands: Stories of the Apocalypse" (Nightshade Books 2008) and "Redshift: Extreme Visions of Speculative Fiction" (Penguin-Putnam 2001).
Ms. Wells holds a Master of Library Science degree from the University of Arizona and is employed as a medical librarian in Tucson, Arizona. She is married with two grown children and enjoys singing, hiking, and theatre.
