Biography
Grady Hendrix has written about the confederate flag for Playboy magazine, terrible movie novelizations for Film Comment, and both Jean-Claude Van Damme AND ninja death swarms for Slate. He's covered machine gun collector conventions, done vice squad ride-alongs, written award shows for Chinese television, and spent years answering the phone for the parapsychological research organization that was the basis of "Ghostbusters."
His stories about UFO cults, killer Chinese parasites, Cthulhu dating your mom, and super-genius human-hating apes have appeared in Lightspeed Magazine, Strange Horizons, Pseudopod, and "The Mad Scientist's Guide to World Domination."
He and his high school BFF, Katie Crouch, co-authored "The Magnolia League," a YA series for Little, Brown, and he's co-author (along with his wife) of the award-winning "Dirt Candy: A Cookbook," the world's first graphic novel cookbook.
