Biography
Kathryn Allan is an Independent Scholar of disability studies and science fiction (specializing in cyberpunk and feminist SF). She is the co-editor (with Djibril al-Ayad) of Accessing the Future, a disability-themed SF anthology; editor of Disability in Science Fiction: Representations of Technology as Cure; and the inaugural recipient of the Le Guin Feminist Science Fiction Fellowship. Here PhD thesis is: "Bleeding Chrome: Technology and the Vulnerable Body in Feminist Post-Cyberpunk SF."
