Biography
Robert Crossley, for 37 years a member of the English Department at the University of Massachusetts Boston, is now Professor Emeritus. His latest book, IMAGINING MARS: A LITERARY HISTORY, appeared in January 2011 from Wesleyan University Press. He lives in Boston and is currently writing essays on PARADISE LOST and Wordsworth's PRELUDE. A personal essay, "Why Mars?" appears in the August 2012 issue of the Smithsonian's AIR & SPACE magazine.
