Disjointed start, more dialog than action, and far too many puns. I have not had the pleasure of reading Finnegan's Wake, so perhaps some of the setup was lost on me. Ends with a bang, but the themes likely meant to shock in the 1960s are less impactful today.
Read as part of the 1960s reading challenge, as it is included in Harlan Ellison's Dangerous Visions anthology.
