I don't know why I read this book. I think someone must have recommended it to me. It hasn't won any awards that I know of (yet) and I haven't come across any must-read lists that it's on. I never heard of Blake Crouch. So, I don't know why I read it, but I'm really glad that I did. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It's about the notion of many worlds, multiple universes. A couple of things are a little oddball, such as a construct that is kind of the backstage to the multiverse. It's also an interesting take on Schrödinger's Cat.
The action never stops. The tension builds and builds. In the book's blurb it tells of our hero being abducted. I guessed who his abductor was before he did. Also at the end of the book, I guessed the way out. So I got a couple right - bound to happen; the book keeps you guessing. I looked forward to every session with the book, and was almost disappointed when it was finished.
Highly recommended.
