A Gathering of Shadows

I thought I first I should have reread "A Darker Shade of Magic", because I couldn't really remember all the events and references, but this book very quickly and clearly became Lila's story. I love how she goes hell-bent-for-leather in dealing with her own insecurities - she may be madly, dangerously brash, but she still manages to come through.
