In War Times

I really enjoyed the parts of the story built off her father's journals. They sketched such rich and interesting stories, that the more original parts seemed thin in comparison. Another big problem for me was so much space being given to "science" that just never made sense to me. I don't know how many time the same music analogy was repeated in detail but I never followed it. I wish she had just pretend it all worked and I could have assumed she was right and moved on with the story without her trying to explain the "proof" of time travel to convince me.
