Reading Robin Hobb is like coming home to me, it's 'right', and even if it's simple stories and not my homie Fitz telling about his hard, hard life, it makes everything a little bit better. I especially liked the story about the beginnings of the Rain Wild settlement; hopefully there will be more stories about it, when the latest trilogy is concluded.
But I was really curious to read her Megan Lindholm stories, too, mostly to see how different they are from her writing as Robin Hobb and indeed, they have different voices, but it's also not hard to picture the same author (in completely different circumstances) writing both kind of stories. I liked Lindholm's things as well and now I want to read her other books, too.
