The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet

I bought this on a whim and was not disappointed.

The book has been compared to the Firefly TV series, to which it bears some resemblance - s small crew doing jobs and travelling between the planets. I was amazed that although there is almost no conflict, I quite liked the book. I can only think of this as feel good sf with the characters enjoying themselves seeing other planets and cultures.
