Sorcerer to the Crown

This was a bit too broadly drawn of a comedy for me, the characters too silly for me to empathize with, and the satire of a traditional regency romance just too heavy. Nonetheless I loved the way she used this broadly drawn comedy to talk about race and gender and class and colonialism. And what a lovely way to handle the romance! It wasn't in any way the driving force, just a nice little dessert at the end.
