An enjoyable, fun, but not extraordinary novel.
An actor is hired to impersonate a politician for one special ceremony. Of course, things go as well as can be expected, and the job expands... a lot.
It's obviously dated - no author nowadays would portray a politician as a sincerely good guy. (Add a few things about slide rules and no opinion polls). Otherwise very readable, just a bit predictable.
Recommended.
