Dracula

I know some people complain of the Victorian pacing of this novel but it is truly a faster and easier read than most novels of its period. This was another case where the modern telling of the Dracula story has little bearing on the original novel, like a 100 year long game of Telephone.

I was not expecting so much the the story to take place in the greater London area, it is truly analogous to so many modern paranormal TV series taking place in suburbia. The slow reveal works better for an unspoiled audience but the climax was suitably dramatic.

Overall, a sci-fi classic that I would recommend to everyone.
