Assassin's Apprentice

I loved this book. There was plenty about Assassin's Apprentice that I should have disliked for being clichés of the fantasy genre, but Robin Hobb has taken the pieces of fantasy and rearranged them like a tangram. The pieces still make a square but it is a different square than others created and somehow pleasing in its arrangement.
