With Beautiful You, Palahniuk, the eternal twelve year old shock-jock of fiction disappoints again. Every year or so, I optimistically pick up his latest, hoping that he'll recapture the demented wizardry of Rant only to land again in the puerile muck.
I suppose that one of these years, I'll finally learn my lesson...
