I don't quite know what to make of this book. But then I rarely know what to make of a Dan Simmons book.
Sherlock Holmes and the writer, Henry James, team up to solve a murder in America. Sherlock confesses to James that he doesn't believe he is real. He is a fictional character and he can prove it. Moriaty isn't real other. But is he?
Simmons throws a lot into this one. I'm not sure if it worked or not.
