Good Points: I really enjoyed all the secondary characters, and felt they had a lot of potential and interest to them. The world felt interesting and original. A good noir-style urban fantasy set in a unique setting.
Not So Good Points: I really hated Rojan, and got tired of his excessive obsession with every person with boobs that walked by. It got tired quickly. I felt the plot was rather predictable and the shocking reveals were not really all that shocking.
Overall, interesting new world, and depending on the way the series goes, Rojan's progression as a character might be interesting with many of the developments at the end of the book. Especially if he can stop hitting on every single woman that walks by.
