The Planet Savers

I picked up this book because I wanted to read some old science fiction from a giant in the field. Ms. Bradley weaved a glorious tale of humans interacting with a new species. The book was hard to follow at times because it jumped too much from subject matter to subject matter. Being a product of the end of the 20th century, I am used to my sci-fi having lots of detail. I know The Darkover Series is long and maybe most of what I am missing is furhter down the series. Overall it was a good beginning with minor holes. The characters were interesting, but not enough story to really flesh them out in this book.
