I need to read The Three-Body Problem, I've had it recommended to me by a couple of close friends now and after reading this novella I know that Liu Cixin is the real deal. This was a fascinating novella and portrayed an alternative version of what happened when dinosaurs roamed the earth. One in which ants and dinosaurs worked together to create societies more advanced than humans have been able to develop. And how war and differences ripped their society apart. Thought-provoking and unlike anything I've read, I think this political allegory didn't just steal the cake, but the chief that cooked it too.
- Are there things worse than nuclear weapons that humans have yet to invent?
- How long will human society last?
- Would humans benefit substantially from another intelligent species with a different perspective on the world, or are we destined to wipe ourselves out anyway?
