Daybreak - 2250 A.D.

I read this long ago but reread it in the last couple of years. It was a quick read and I remember it keeping my attention. It is the story of a society that has developed hundreds of years after nuclear war decimated humanity. It is the story of a quest for knowledge in a mutated and hostile world.
