The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet

Well done. Life on a multi-species ship whose job is tunneling wormhole corridors through space. I don't know if it was Chambers' intention, but the book feels like multiple short stories with the same characters. This is not a bad thing, and gives a memorable impression.

Some of the aliens seem to be over-anthropomorphized, but this is admittedly nit-picking, since the characterizations are excellent and more than make up for it. Looking forward to sequels.
