The Lincoln Hunters

I thoroughly enjoyed The Lincoln Hunters. My only real criticism of it is that it's too short. The concept and ideas within leaned themselves to a more extensive story and I would have been loved another 100-200 pages of exploration in historic periods connected to the main plot. The story is heavy in dialogue but a well-woven narrative provides a rapidly moving story, reads beautifully, and provides interesting twists along the way with a jaw-dropping ending. The supposition of historic occurrences didn't feel exaggerated but rather opened up some interesting contemplation. My first foray into Wilson Tucker's writing and far from my last. Was going to say 4.5 stars but dammit, I'm going 5!
