Nine Last Days on Planet Earth

I liked that this story doesn't go where you expect it to, based on the beginning. It's a slow, thoughtful, and bittersweet contemplation of what we consider important as compared to what an alien species might consider important, and how we balance our personal priorities with the external demands on our time, attention, and effort.
