Range of Ghosts

I enjoyed many aspects of this book. The characters and the various cultures and peoples we meet are interesting and I liked how they interacted. The magic of the world was cool and I liked that the different cultures had different relationships with it too. I also liked the geographic scope of the story, the character's journey covered a lot of ground (I appreciated the map in the front). Though this is the first of a trilogy, a lot happens and we learn a lot even while the larger story is being set up. I'll definitely be continuing the series.
