The Ballad of Black Tom

This novella is basically a rewrite of "The Horror At Red Hook" by H. P. Lovecraft. Victor Lavalle took Lovecraft's story and added just enough to make it truly his own, while keeping the larger story intact. Both stories stand alone, you do not need to read the Lovecraft to enjoy this and vice-versa.

I did enjoy this story by Victor Lavalle, and will be looking for more by him. I especially enjoyed how he ended this one.
