Ian Sales, creator of the SF Mistressworks list, recently posted a revised version of his original list (also available here on WWEnd). As his post explains, "[T]he original list had a few problems. A couple of the titles I'd proposed turned out to be fantasy and not science fiction; and one writer even proved to be male--well, I never can remember which is male and which is female from Lesley and Leslie... The list also contained only 91 books, as I'd not managed to think of 100 suitable titles."

These are the books he removed from the original list (not including the male-authored book, which he struck from the original list immediately); the asterisked books he replaced with a book by the same author on the revised list:

* Jirel of Joiry by C. L. Moore (1969)
* The Silver Metal Lover by Tanith Lee (1981)
Despatches from the Frontiers of the Female Mind edited by Sarah Lefanu and Jen Green (1985)

Shadow on the Hearth by Judith Merril (1950)
* Judgment Night by C. L. Moore (1952)
Agent of the Unknown by Margaret St. Clair (1956)
* Catseye by Andre Norton (1961)
Armed Camps by Kit Reed (1969)
Darkover Landfall by Marion Zimmer Bradley (1972)
Star Rider by Doris Piserchia (1974)
* Don't Bite the Sun by Tanith Lee (1976)
Leviathan's Deep by Jayge Carr (1979)
A Voice Out of Ramah by Lee Killough (1979)
Last Letters from Hav by Jan Morris (1985)
Carmen Dog by Carol Emshwiller (1988)

My first thought is thanks for sorting out the changes so I didn't have to! I've been meaning to get around to updating the list since I saw his revisions but got distracted with other site updates.

So here are the ones on your list that we don't have in our database yet:
